We are going to have Freediving Instructor Eiko Jones give a talk/introduction to Freediving at Beaver Aquatics on Friday April 21st from 6:30-8:30 PM. Anyone interested please call the shop (250-287-7652) or email us firstname.lastname@example.org just so we know how many people to expect. Should be a fun and informative evening.
Our Public Science Speaker Series is back! We are happy to invite you to meet and experience some amazing people each month from now until the summer. We will kick the series off with a great talk about jellyfish coming Thursday. It will be followed by a talk on Marine Fossils of Vancouver Island, Nov 9, same time and place.
This Sunday, October 2nd 2016 we are partnering with Eiko Jones and Pacific Pro to clean up McIvor Lake! Meet us at the lake at 10am.
In 2013, the last time we ran the clean up we had approximately a dozen participants, this time we would love to see more of you!
Please feel free to share this with all your diving friends, or anyone that would like to come help out for the day! We need people on shore to lend a hand as well. Bring the family, and help us clean up the lake, for everyone!
We will fill tanks for any diver participating, for FREE!
This is an article from the mirror about the cleanup in 2013.
Are you a Campbell River local, or are you just visiting, maybe here to catch a boatload of fish and be on your way? Perhaps you’re looking for a unique adventure that you can’t find in other parts of the world? We have something pretty special, and definitely unique to offer in this town! You can be one with the salmon, float the Campbell River and take in the sights, as if you yourself were a salmon! Put on a wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel, and get ready for an adventure unlike any other!
Need the gear? We’ve got you covered with 4hr ($40), or 24hr ($55) river run rentals to make sure that you have as much time as you need to see this incredible phenomenon!
